The Lockney Independent School District is pleased to announce that Coach Cory McCombs will be leading the Lockney Longhorn Football Team and Athletic Program into the future. Mr. McCombs, his wife Tina, and their daughter Landri are coming to Lockney from Georgetown, Texas where Coach McCombs has been a defensive coordinator for East View High School. He has twenty-one years of experience with some very strong programs and we are excited to see the leadership he will bring to our athletic programs. Coach McCombs grew up in Hamlin, Texas and understands the importance of small communities. We know that he and his family will be a blessing to our school and our community.
