Last week at Lockney Jr. High, Mrs. Sperry's 8th graders held a "Boston Tea Party" to complete the unit on this on this historical protest held in 1773 colonial Massachusetts. Students were able to sip tea, eat cookies, and even emptied tea bags to ship all the way to Boston, Massachusetts. Once arriving in Boston, the tea from our Lockney Jr. High students will be dumped into the harbor in remembrance of this historic event. The students were very excited about this party and celebrated in style. "Pinkies Up" my friends!
