Lockney ISD

Lockney ISD is excited to announce that Ms. Michelle Southard will be joining our team as the High School Principal for the upcoming school year. Ms. Southard is joining us from Shallowater ISD and brings with her a wealth of experience in campus-level leadership, curriculum and instruction, and instructional coaching. Ms. Southard grew up in Clovis, NM, and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communications and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from West Texas A&M University. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Higher Education. Ms. Southard is the proud mother for four. Saibree Boyd (28) is a teacher for Canyon ISD, Caitlin Hill (25) is a pediatric nurse in Amarillo, Logan Beltran (20) is a sophomore at WTAMU, and Tucker Southard (12), is a soon to be an 8th Grader at Lockney Junior High. We are happy to have Ms. Southard and her family join our Lockney Longhorn Family and we look forward to seeing what the future holds under her leadership.
