A NOTE FROM OUR SUPERINTENDENT

It is the mission of Lockney Independent School District to develop well-rounded citizens in an environment rich with tradition and success. Great students, great staff, great parents, and a great community provide us the key ingredients to continue on that path.

Our instruction is second to none. Our staff encourages students of all abilities to strive toward academic excellence. We want students to continue beyond what is required; we want them to develop an unquenchable thirst for lifelong learning and discovery. We want students to become successful in an ever-changing society.

Lockney ISD provides a safe and caring environment for all students. We want them to leave here each day with a positive self-image. We believe that if students are nurtured and cared for, then success will always be within their grasps.

We have a wide variety of successful extra-curricular activities. Our athletic, band, and UIL academic programs have crowned many champions at district, regional, and state levels. Students have the best chance to succeed when they are exposed to a variety of real-life experiences. We strive to give that opportunity to every student.

We encourage you to call or come by for a visit, and let us show you why our students excel in every way.

WE ARE LOCKNEY!
